Michel
I was born in 1975 in rural New
Zealand. I’ve been playing in bands for more than twenty five years
now, since I was thirteen. I can’t remember all of them, and not
all of them rate a mention anyway. My main project since 1993 has
been Disjecta Membra. For fun, I’m also currently a member of Cure
covers act Splintered In Her Head. I have a monthly show on Cathedral13 Internet Radio called Saturday Night Stay At Home, which, at the
time of writing, has been running for a year (since July 2013). I’ve
been a professional writer, researcher and historian for over a
decade, specialising mainly in Māori history and tradition. As an
aside, I also enjoy writing about music. I don’t enjoy writing
about myself so much.
